Hampton Demesne brings high-quality homes to first-time buyers in Balbriggan.

The scheme is offered by Ballymore, the Land Development Agency and Fingal County Council. Ballymore commissioned us to create the brand identity and marketing campaign.

Our approach focused on the people choosing to live there: their priorities, their expectations and how they wanted to live. We created a confident, welcoming brand that reflected the quality of the homes and the excitement of choosing a place of your own, with buyers’ plans for the future central to the story.

Background

Balbriggan’s coastline, green spaces, schools, local clubs and rail connections all contribute to the appeal of the location, offering a setting that supports both everyday needs and future plans.

Our task was to bring these qualities together in a distinctive identity and compelling story for Hampton Demesne, establishing its own character within Ballymore’s portfolio while connecting it to the surrounding town and community.

The Idea

We began with the decisions that shape a homebuyer’s search: room to grow, access to work, everyday convenience and somewhere to feel part of a community.

Hampton Demesne offered a balance between these needs. With the sea nearby and Dublin within reach, its setting brings together the practicalities of a working week and the possibilities of life outside it.

This became the foundation of the brand: contemporary living with strong connections to the places and people around you. The messaging was grounded and optimistic, helping buyers see how a home here could fit their lives now and support their plans for the future.

Execution

The identity centred on an intertwined H&D monogram, enclosed by a flowing, wave-like stroke. The form gave Hampton Demesne a recognisable signature, with a subtle reference to its coastal setting.

An elegant serif wordmark and rich burgundy palette brought warmth and confidence to the identity. Together, these elements created a refined character that could hold its own on large-scale signage while retaining its detail in the brochure.

The brochure connected the development to the wider experience of living in Balbriggan. Coastline, nature, schools, community and transport helped establish the setting before readers explored the homes, layouts and specifications.

Balbriggan’s regeneration plans added a forward-looking dimension, placing Hampton Demesne within a broader story of investment in the town’s public spaces and community life.

Across the brochure, hoarding and site signage, the copy balanced ambition with useful detail, bringing the possibilities of the location and the practical considerations of choosing a home into one consistent story.

The Impact

The result is a distinctive, cohesive brand that gives Hampton Demesne a clear place within Ballymore’s portfolio and the wider Balbriggan story.

By connecting the character of the setting with the needs of prospective residents, the brand gives buyers something tangible to imagine: a home that works for everyday life, with space for the future they want to build.

What the client said…

“The team were a pleasure to work with – collaborative, responsive, and genuinely invested in the success of the projects. They demonstrated a clear understanding of the market and our buyer profiles, which came through in every aspect of the brand development. We look forward to working with them again on future projects.”
